Sunday, January 27, 2008 - Awareness Beads were created by Andrea Abbott-Webb in memory of two people very dear to her; Michelle, her sister, and Deanne her friend and beading buddy.

Andrea had definite ideas of what she did and didn't want for her new site. She wanted an uplifting look to showcase the beautiful Awareness Beads. From browsing the site, you'll discover the many colors of Awareness Beads. These colors represent a disease or multiple diseases and are great for fund-raising. A portion of the proceeds from Awareness Beads are donated to numerous research organizations.
